Covey Rise

CoveyRise Plantation, Inc. is a family-run, full-service hunting lodge on the banks of the Flint River in game-rich southwest Georgia. Serving guests since 1986, the plantation specializes in exclusive bobwhite quail hunting trips, with each party enjoying private use of the facilities rather than being grouped with others. Hunts take place across varied courses of longleaf pine woods, broom sedge and field borders, and are supported by experienced guides, trained dogs and equipped jeeps. Guests may walk or minimize walking as needed, and can bring their own dogs.

The riverfront lodge offers more than 10,000 square feet of rustic-style accommodations, including 13 private-bath bedrooms for groups of up to 16, plus a dining room, billiard room, pro shop, fireplace, games and internet access. The plantation serves traditional Southern meals, desserts, appetizers and refreshments, with seasonal riverside oyster preparations. Trip packages combine hunting, lodging, meals and bird processing, with shotguns available if needed.
