Taiwan AI Labs is at the forefront of combating the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic through innovative AI-driven solutions. Collaborating with the Executive Yuan, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and the National Health Insurance, they have developed essential tools such as the Health Report App, which streamlines traveler entry and quarantine processes. Their advanced AI diagnostic systems analyze chest X-ray images to quickly identify potential COVID-19 cases, triggering alerts to health authorities.

In addition to pandemic response, Taiwan AI Labs has created the Disinformation Understanding System to combat misinformation, offering users a clearer perspective on pandemic-related news. The Taiwan Social Distancing App leverages Bluetooth technology to monitor interactions and mitigate virus transmission, while DockCoV2 aids in drug discovery by predicting viral replication inhibitors using computational methods. Beyond COVID-19, their TAIGenomics platform provides genomic analysis for disease diagnosis and treatment predictions. Through these initiatives, Taiwan AI Labs exemplifies commitment to public health and innovation in the face of global health challenges.
