Cowans Ford

Cowan’s Ford Golf Club is a family-oriented, private member-owned club established in 1963 on the southwest shore of Lake Norman. It offers members and their guests a welcoming setting for golf, recreation, dining, and social gatherings. The club’s year-round, 18-hole, par-72 championship course is open for walking or riding, with practice facilities, active leagues, and golf programs and clinics led by PGA professionals for players of all ages and abilities.

Beyond golf, members can enjoy six lighted pickleball courts, two tennis courts, and a Junior Olympic-size swimming pool offering options for lessons, lap swimming, water aerobics, and leisure. A private boat ramp provides members and guests with access to Lake Norman. The clubhouse features a full-service pro shop, banquet room, bistro, casual lounge, and fireside patio overlooking the putting green. Its food and beverage team serves meals for dining at the club or taking home. Cowan’s Ford also hosts tournaments, weddings, family celebrations, bridge, wine tastings, trivia nights, and other seasonal and private events.
