Coweta Youth Running

Coweta Youth Running Club, known as the Coweta Comets, is a nonprofit youth running organization founded in 2024. The club offers year-round opportunities for young runners through its Fall Cross Country and Spring Distance Running programs, as well as a Trail Running Summer Camp. Its activities are designed around running and racing, with schedules, race results, club achievements, and frequently asked questions available to help families follow the team’s programs and events.

Coweta Youth Running Club is a member of both the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) and USA Track & Field (USATF). The organization is operated entirely by volunteer parents and coaches and is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Donations support activities across the club and its programs. Families and supporters can also find information about club memberships, sponsors, seasonal programs, and ways to contribute. With a volunteer-led structure and several running options throughout the year, the Coweta Comets provide a community-based setting for youth participation in cross country, distance running, and trail running.
