Cowichan South Arts Guild (CSAG) is a community arts organization serving Shawnigan Lake, Cobble Hill, Mill Bay and surrounding areas. Its mission is to support and raise awareness of local artists while creating opportunities for community members to experience and take part in the arts. The Guild offers programs, workshops and events across visual and performing arts, welcoming people of different ages and experience levels.

Youth activities include Inspire! Youth Arts, where children ages 8–12 explore materials such as fibre, clay, beads and paper, and The Studio, an open-ended creative space for ages 13–16. Adult and community offerings include practical workshops, such as acrylic painting with mixed media, and Creators Circle gatherings for makers and painters to work alongside others and share inspiration. CSAG also supports family-friendly arts activities through Whimsy at community events and hosts Inspired By Reading, a local book club. Through these varied experiences, the Guild encourages creativity, connection and self-expression throughout the community.
