Coyote Crossing Equestrian

Coyote Crossing Equestrian Center is a horse park in Bedford, Virginia, welcoming horses of all breeds and riders from every discipline. Its facilities include a Bolender-certified mountain trail course built by Extreme Mountain Trail founder Mark Bolender, two arenas, warm-up space, stalls, and electric hookups for overnight stays. The outdoor course features varied obstacles, including bridges, balance beams, and a teeter-totter, offering horses and riders opportunities to build confidence and learn new skills.

The center hosts mountain trail lessons and clinics, competitions, camps, shows, fundraisers, and play days. Cow Play Days introduce participants of all experience levels to working cattle, while the annual Fun Show features activities such as jousting, water-gun shooting, and horse soccer. Visitors can also enjoy Equine Trail Sports events along a three-mile trail with obstacles, or take part in a property-wide scavenger hunt. Coyote Crossing offers appointments for riders who want to visit and use the course, and provides event-time stall rentals. The center recommends helmets and leg protection; helmets are required for riders under 18.
