Centre for Peacebuilding and Reconciliation (CPBR) is a remarkable local organization in Sri Lanka, dedicated to interfaith dialogue and peacebuilding initiatives. At CPBR, we believe that social change begins at the individual level and empowers communities to actively contribute to a more equal and just society. Our approach focuses on inner dialogue and self-transformation, utilizing visual arts, crafts, and sustainable living to facilitate personal growth, capacity development, and confidence building.

Through these tools, we create spaces and systems where diverse groups can come together, make collective decisions, and take action. Building trust is a lengthy process, but since 2002, we have been exploring innovative ways to bring communities together, deconstruct social divides, and amplify their voices in opinion and policy-making processes. CPBR consists of three wings: APINAM, a coalition of faith leaders; WOMAN, dedicated to healing women affected by violence; and SANGYOG, an interfaith youth coalition.
