CPE Les Coquins is an early childhood education organization serving families across the MRC de L’Islet in Quebec. It provides educational services to children from birth to age five at its centres and to children from birth to age twelve in family childcare settings. Its facilities include locations in L’Islet, Saint-Jean-Port-Joli and Saint-Pamphile, alongside a coordinating office for family childcare providers.

The organization aims to create a safe, supportive environment that promotes children’s overall development, discovery and well-being. Its educational approach involves children actively in their learning, encouraging them to make age-appropriate choices and develop through play. Core principles include respecting each child’s pace, encouraging effort, fostering meaningful relationships and building independence through perseverance.

To support its educational program, CPE Les Coquins uses the HighScope approach in its centres and several family childcare settings. It also offers a program to support children with particular challenges, helping guide and accompany them as they develop their potential. Families can register or update their files through Quebec’s La Place 0-5 waiting-list service.
