About CPG
The German-Southeast Asian Center of Excellence for Public Policy and Good Governance (CPG) is an academic institute, think tank, and provider of advisory services and facilitator. Based at the Faculty of Law of Thammasat University in Bangkok, CPG is a collaboration between Thammasat University, Frankfurt University, and Münster University. CPG conducts and publishes research, organizes academic events, and offers consultancy and advisory services to both public and private stakeholders.
We are dedicated to bridging the gap between theory and practice, focusing on areas such as constitutional law & human rights, security & peace studies, and governance & compliance. With a strong regional focus on Southeast Asia, we offer various services for students, scholars, and alumni, including academies, courses, a German language program, and access to our comprehensive resources library. We also provide in-depth learning material on international human rights through our online sources.
