About CPGR
The Centre for Proteomic and Genomic Research (CPGR) is a non-profit organization established in 2006 in South Africa. As a leading Omics facility, CPGR offers a range of comprehensive services in genomics, proteomics, transcriptomics, and metabolomics to meet the needs of the academic and industrial scientific community. Supported by the South African Department of Science and Innovation and the Technology Innovation Agency, CPGR aims to drive industry innovation and facilitate the development of the biotech sector in South Africa.
They have launched an accelerator program called Artisan Biomed, focusing on Omics technologies and precision medicine solutions. CPGR also hosts DIPLOMICS, a large infrastructure program that supports genomic healthcare opportunities.
