CPOC, or Chief Probation Officers of California, is an association of all 58 counties in California, comprised of law enforcement leaders dedicated to promoting public safety through a research-based approach. Their mission is to prevent crime, reduce recidivism, restore victims, and promote healthy families and communities. CPOC offers a range of services and programs, including community-based corrections, secure detention for youth, and direct human services.

They provide training through their on-demand training catalog and organize conferences, such as the Annual Foster Care Conference and the Juvenile Realignment Conference. CPOC also offers resources and information on topics like domestic violence, evidence-based practices, and juvenile justice process mapping. They have a strong focus on holding clients accountable, preventing crime, assessing individuals coming before the court, restoring victims, rehabilitating clients, ensuring secure detention services, and facilitating successful reentry.
