The Conselho Português de Ressuscitação (CPR) is a Portuguese non-profit scientific association dedicated to promoting good practices in resuscitation and helping save lives through education and public engagement. It welcomes healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses and health technicians, as well as members of the public who are interested in resuscitation. As Portugal’s representative of the European Resuscitation Council (ERC), the CPR supports European standards and guidance for resuscitation training.

The organisation provides certified courses and training, with programmes structured according to European technical and educational standards. Offerings include basic life support (BLS) and automated external defibrillator (AED) training, as well as instructor development.
