Camden People's Theatre (CPT) is an innovative contemporary performance venue that brings together artists and audiences to connect, imagine, be heard, and be entertained. With a national leadership role in the field of contemporary performance for over 28 years, CPT champions the next generation of theatre-makers and launches the careers of ground-breaking artists. CPT delivers a wide-ranging programme that includes themed festivals addressing socio-political issues affecting our community.

They support early-career artists and attract a consistently young and diverse audience. Notable artists they have worked with include Fevered Sleep, Chris Thorpe, Emily Lim (who now runs the National Theatre’s Public Acts programme), Scottee, Common Wealth, and Nouveau Riche. Additionally, CPT is proud to be a member of the Camden community and collaborates with New Diorama Theatre to run the Camden Youth Theatre, providing young people with the skills to create their own inventive new theatre.
