CPTS Bérange is a territorial health community bringing together healthcare professionals and other health-sector partners across 16 communes in the Bérange area, near Montpellier. Its purpose is to coordinate local care, strengthen collaboration among practitioners and improve access to appropriate services for residents. The association supports healthcare professionals with initiatives such as helping new practitioners establish themselves, encouraging student placements and developing coordinated practice structures. It also promotes care quality through interprofessional training and review of adverse events, and helps prepare coordinated responses to major health emergencies.

For residents, CPTS Bérange works to improve access to a general practitioner and supports multidisciplinary care pathways, including those for heart failure, childhood and adolescent overweight or obesity, and older people through the ICOPE approach. Its prevention activities address cardiovascular risks, diabetes screening and addictive behaviours, while related resources include a directory of local professionals, defibrillator locations, emergency numbers and information on finding a GP. The community also shares local health news, events and practical information.
