Cracovia Foil Fencing

Cracovia Olympic Foil Fencing School is a fencing school in Madison, Wisconsin, established in 1997. It focuses on foil fencing, combining athletic training with the skills and traditions of the sport. The school’s stated values include fair play, challenge, respect, and fun, and its program offers lessons and club sessions for people interested in learning and practicing fencing. Coach Kostecka leads instruction, guiding students as they develop their abilities and pursue their fencing goals.

Cracovia’s community has supported students who have continued their fencing careers beyond the school. One former student, Linus Rastegar, trained at Cracovia for 12 years before moving to Austria, where he earned a bronze medal at the Austrian Junior Championship and qualified for a senior Grand Prix event. The school has also been featured in local media and has hosted fencing instruction for Privileged Schools of America students. Club sessions are listed on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Cracovia shares information about its coaches, lessons, schedule, photos, and fencing-related news through its website.
