The Climate Resilient Agribusiness for Tomorrow (CRAFT) project is a private sector-driven initiative focused on promoting climate-smart, inclusive, and scalable business cases in the agricultural sector of Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. Partnered with organizations like Wageningen University and Research, CRAFT aims to enhance food security and agricultural productivity through resilient practices. Targeting smallholder farmers, cooperatives, and agribusiness SMEs, the project works to create a conducive environment for adopting Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) practices.

By focusing on seven key value chains, including potatoes, beans, and sunflower, CRAFT strives to increase productivity, income, and sustainable food production across 600,000 hectares. With a budget of approximately 36 million Euros, including climate innovation funding, CRAFT is committed to empowering farmers and businesses while promoting climate resilience and sustainable growth in the agribusiness sector.
