About Craft Lake City
Craft Lake City is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting the local maker scene. Their annual DIY Festival, held each year in August, is their flagship event that celebrates creativity and craftsmanship. In addition to the festival, Craft Lake City offers year-round programming, including workshops, exhibits, and special events, to educate and inspire the community.
Craft Lake City is currently hiring for both year-round roles and seasonal contract positions. They are looking for individuals who are community-minded and interested in DIY culture. Whether you're able to commit to full-time or just a few hours a week, Craft Lake City has opportunities that may suit your availability.
One of the current job openings is for a Development Coordinator, responsible for securing funding through grant writing, sponsorship asks, and fundraising. This role requires strong writing skills, a passion for DIY culture, and the ability to stay organized in managing multiple funding projects. The Development Coordinator will work closely with the Development team to build relationships with donors and sponsors, develop new funding streams, and ensure that Craft Lake City's programming meets funding requirements.
Craft Lake City values diversity and invites individuals from all cultures and communities to apply. They are an equal opportunity employer that supports inclusivity in all aspects of employment. If you have a passion for supporting local artisans and are dedicated to fostering creativity, consider joining the Craft Lake City team.
Apply now to be a part of their mission to champion the local maker scene and make a positive impact on the community
