Craft Your Fiction is a writing education brand founded by Jordan McCollum to help creative writers strengthen their prose, storytelling skills, and confidence. Its approach treats writing as both an art and a craft, encouraging writers to develop their skills, create thoughtfully, and take pride in the stories they produce. Craft Your Fiction offers online writing courses, with information for visitors to explore classes or sign up to hear when courses open.
Writers can also request a free writing guide and subscribe to a weekly email newsletter featuring writing tips. The teaching focuses on actionable ways to improve sentences, scenes, and stories while helping writers navigate conflicting advice. Jordan McCollum has taught writing craft online and in person since 2009, including at conferences and writing organizations.
Her experience includes teaching online classes with groups of more than 400 members, publishing four nonfiction books about writing craft, and authoring more than 30 novels under four names. She holds an MFA in writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts
