At Craighalbert, we are dedicated to helping children and young people from birth to 19 years old with complex communication, learning, health, and care needs, to reach their full potential. At Xraighalbert Centre, we offer on-site nursery and school placements at purpose-built facilities in Cumbernauld, while our early intervention programmes support younger children at significant risk of developing or diagnosed with a neurological condition on a sessional basis.

About Craighalbert
The Craighalbert Centre, established as The Scottish Centre for Children with Motor Impairments in 1991, is a therapy centre and one of Scotland's Grant Aided Special Schools. Funded directly by the Scottish Government, we provide specialized and high-quality integrated therapy and education for children and young people affected by cerebral palsy and similar neurological conditions. At the Craighalbert Centre, we believe that children with motor impairments require a focused and specialist environment to address their needs and develop their abilities.
Our dedicated team of experienced and highly trained professionals, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, teachers, and early years practitioners, work collaboratively to maximize each child's potential and independence. Our specially designed and well-resourced Centre offers a range of specialist and age-appropriate programs for children from birth to 19 years. Unlike other organizations, we focus on each child's abilities and how to enhance them.
