Cransley Sailing Club is a volunteer-run, family-friendly club based at Cransley Reservoir near Kettering, Northamptonshire. Established in 1967, it welcomes sailors and non-sailors to enjoy the lake, its peaceful surroundings and a broad programme of water-based activities. The club offers dinghy sailing, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and model sailing, alongside regular training and social events.
As a recognised Royal Yachting Association Training Centre, it provides member courses in dinghy sailing, powerboating and safety boating, as well as first aid training and opportunities to learn through videos and organised sessions. Members can take part in competitive racing on weekends from spring through autumn and on Tuesday evenings during the summer; Friday club nights offer time for sailing and SUP. Paddleboarding is available to members from dawn to dusk throughout the week.
The club also supports youth sailing and participates in the Northants Youth Series. Set within a privately owned, 75-acre reservoir and wildlife reserve, Cransley Sailing Club combines sailing opportunities with a welcoming community and a distinctive natural setting
