Clubul Retrieverilor și al Câinilor de Apă is an association dedicated to the scientific reproduction and improvement of retrievers and water dogs. Founded by breeders and enthusiasts, their aim is to maintain and enhance the uniform phenotypic characteristics of these breeds in Romania. The association operates in Romania but also collaborates with other canine associations and clubs in organizing activities related to purebred dogs.

Their main objectives include coordinating and supervising the breeding of retrievers and water dogs in Romania according to breed standards, as well as supporting research in the field of selection, heredity, animal psychology, nutrition, and health care. They also provide advice and assistance to their members on issues of animal selection, breeding, and care. Through legal means, they promote the reproduction and growth of retrievers and water dogs in Romania, organize canine events in collaboration with other affiliated associations, and give recognition and rewards to individuals who excel in breeding, care, and training activities
