About Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana
Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana (CRCL) is a brand dedicated to the restoration and protection of Louisiana's coast. Louisiana's coastal land loss has had significant impacts on energy, navigation, fisheries, and the communities of south Louisiana. CRCL is committed to making coastal restoration and protection a priority at the state, local, and federal levels.
CRCL offers various products and services to achieve its mission. They engage in policy advocacy and outreach, educating future coastal leaders through programs and field trips, and connecting stakeholders through the State of the Coast Conference. CRCL also focuses on restoring native plants and oyster reefs, utilizing their unique Oyster Shell Recycling Program, which collects shell from New Orleans restaurants to build oyster reefs and shoreline habitats.
