Creai Bretagne

CREAI Bretagne is a regional centre for research, action and information supporting people experiencing vulnerability. Working across disability, child protection, ageing, social exclusion and poverty, and mental health, it serves professionals and organisations in Brittany’s social and medico-social sectors. Its work combines local expertise with knowledge of public and social policies, helping regional stakeholders understand needs and make informed decisions.

The organisation conducts studies, assessments and territorial diagnostics, and publishes findings to support planning and decision-making. It advises leaders and service directors on strategic priorities, organisational change, cooperation and project development. CREAI Bretagne also provides professional training, including tailored programmes and study days, to strengthen practice and improve the quality of support. Its activities promote inclusion, participation, self-determination and citizenship for people in vulnerable situations.

To share information and encourage collaboration, CREAI Bretagne organises events and networks that connect practitioners and support the exchange of experience. Its resources include GéoPLATOSS, a regional health and social care observatory, and Handata, an observatory focused on disability.
