This seven-channel video, sound, and light installation takes viewers on a journey through ritualistic movements and explores themes of altered states and transcendence. Each screen showcases a different group engaged in captivating rituals, creating a sense of time and space distortion. As the narratives sync up, viewers are transported to a cosmic calm.
Shaw's work has been shown at renowned institutions such as the Centre Pompidou and the Tate Modern, showcasing his expertise in exploring altered states and scientific practices.
