CreativeLAB is an internationally award-winning photography and videography studio based in Namibia, focused on visual storytelling for travel and commercial clients. Founded by photographer and filmmaker Shawn van Eeden, the studio draws on his experience in leading UK advertising agencies and his passion for capturing Africa’s light, landscapes, and distinctive stories. CreativeLAB works with businesses to bring their vision to life and create content that supports their marketing goals.

Its services include photography and video production for hotels and lodges, real estate, commercial projects, products, documentaries, landscapes, food, personal portraits, and travel. The studio’s featured work includes promotional films for Hoodia Desert Lodge in Sossusvlei, Chobe Water Villas, and commercial and architectural projects for clients such as Bank Windhoek and Kerry McNamara Architects. CreativeLAB has also produced documentary work for GIZ Namibia and an award-winning Greenpeace campaign featuring masks made from trash. Alongside commissioned projects, the studio offers prints and showcases selected work for prospective clients. Its portfolio reflects a versatile approach to creating polished, engaging visual content across industries.
