About Creative Saskatchewan
Creative Saskatchewan is the economic development agency for Saskatchewan's creative industries. They strive to unlock the potential of the creative sector and fuel the economic engine of homegrown talent, transforming creativity into cashflow. The agency provides investments and support to creative entrepreneurs as they create, perform, innovate, and export in their pursuit of commercial success.
Creative Saskatchewan funds seven industry associations, amplifying their members' skills and helping them build extraordinary careers. They offer various programs and grants in areas such as film and TV production, music sound recording, book publishing, live performing arts, digital game development, and craft and visual arts production. Additionally, they provide support in marketing, promotion, market travel, business capacity research, and market and export development.
As a government agency, Creative Saskatchewan is funded by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Parks, Culture, and Sport. They have a dedicated team of staff and a Board of Directors that oversee the organization's vision, finances, and strategic direction.
