CRECCOM is a local Malawian NGO based in Zomba City in the Southern Region of Malawi. With over 24 years of experience, we specialize in social empowerment and community mobilization on a wide range of issues. Our organization was established following the successful USAID-funded projects GABLE SMC (1994-1998) and the pilot phase of the Social Mobilization Campaign for Educational Quality (SMC EQ Project) that ran until 1999.

These projects were implemented in Malawi by the same dedicated staff that now make up CRECCOM. Registered with the Government of Malawi and recognized by the Council of Non-Governmental Organizations of Malawi (CONGOMA), CRECCOM has made substantial contributions to national policies and initiatives. We have developed strong relationships with government officials and influenced policies across various sectors, including education, gender, health, agriculture, labor, and justice.
