Creole Design LLC

Creole Design is a Houston-based architectural design firm specializing in custom homes that combine clients’ personal vision with enduring Southern character. Led by Sam Gianukos, a Certified Professional Building Designer with more than 35 years of experience, the firm draws inspiration from New Orleans architecture, including Greek Revival and ornate Southern styles. Its work also extends to historic Houston neighborhoods and development projects throughout Texas.

Creole Design offers a collaborative process that begins with concept development and continues through design refinement and construction planning. Services include custom home design tailored to clients’ lifestyles, preferences, and budgets; detailed architectural and construction drawings; and design expertise for development projects. The team guides clients through each stage, with an emphasis on functionality, careful attention to detail, and clear communication.

The firm highlights its experience, award-winning designs, and recognition by the American Institute of Architects as evidence of its commitment to quality. Based in Houston’s Heights area, Creole Design invites prospective clients to schedule a consultation, including a free initial consultation, to discuss a home or development project.
