Cretacolor

Cretacolor is an Austrian artist-materials brand with a long tradition of making high-quality supplies for creative work. Described as Austria’s only manufacturer of artists’ materials, it serves beginners and professional artists around the world. Its broad product range supports varied techniques and includes pencils, graphite and charcoal, calligraphy tools, watercolor products, drawing sets, and accessories. Featured lines include aquarellable pencils and solid watercolor sticks, watercolor crayons, and calligraphy nibs and holders. Cretacolor emphasizes color intensity, smooth, rich application, and lightfastness, combining established expertise with new products and thoughtfully assembled sets.

The brand also provides resources to help artists explore and use its products, including inspiration, artwork, videos and tutorials, product catalogs, and a media database with product images and other materials. Sustainability and environmental protection are part of its stated priorities: more than 60 percent of the electricity used is covered by renewable energy, and its parent company, Brevillier Urban & Sachs, has sourced wind power over many years.
