Crewe Clarion Wheelers

Crewe Clarion Wheelers is a cycling club affiliated with Cycling UK (CTC), based in Crewe and serving the surrounding areas of Cheshire. Passionate about cycling since 1968, the club provides a welcoming focal point for riders across disciplines and experience levels, from beginners learning group-riding etiquette to experienced cyclists seeking training and competition. Its membership includes both women and men, with a range of knowledge and experience to share.

Activities include regular club and training rides throughout the year, as well as ladies-only rides, racing, Audax events, tours and social gatherings. The club’s racing section takes part in a variety of events and organises flat and hilly time trials during the season. Members also enjoy annual cycling excursions, including overseas trips and a UK weekend away, alongside smaller, informal overnight and weekend rides. Audax riders can pursue both shorter and longer-distance challenges in the UK and abroad. Crewe Clarion Wheelers welcomes new members of all abilities and offers information and advice to people interested in joining or learning more about its rides and activities.
