The Caribbean Regional Fisheries Mechanism (CRFM) is an inter-governmental organization dedicated to the responsible utilization of the region's fisheries and aquatic resources. Established in 2003, the CRFM aims to promote economic and social benefits for both current and future generations. The organization consists of three main bodies: the Ministerial Council, the Caribbean Fisheries Forum, and the CRFM Secretariat.

The Ministerial Council, composed of Fisheries Ministers from member states, formulates the Mechanism's policies and promotes the management, conservation, and development of marine resources in the Caribbean. The Caribbean Fisheries Forum, comprising representatives from member states, associate members, and observers, is responsible for recommending sustainable fisheries management arrangements based on scientific data and promoting environmental protection. The CRFM Secretariat serves as the administrative hub for the organization.

Member states of CRFM include Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St.

Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Turks and Caicos Islands. Overall, CRFM strives to foster collaboration, enhance research and training, and ensure the well-being of fishers and aquatic ecosystems in the Caribbean region
