Criaprilia

The Italian Red Cross Committee of Aprilia is a local branch of the Italian Red Cross, serving the community through health, social support, emergency assistance, and education. Its activities include street outreach, healthcare assistance at events, and transport for people who are ill or need support travelling. The committee also provides training, including external courses, pediatric life-saving techniques, first-aid team preparation, and makeup and simulation exercises for training scenarios.

Its projects respond to community needs and promote inclusion. These include initiatives supporting children and young people with autism and intellectual disabilities, as well as efforts to reduce isolation among older residents in care homes through digital literacy and stronger connections with family. The committee also takes part in public health activities with professionals such as cardiologists, midwives, nutritionists, and psychologists.

Volunteers are central to its work, and the committee invites people to contribute to their community. Individuals can also support its activities through donations, including Italy’s five-per-thousand tax contribution.
