CRI Cellatica Gussago

The Italian Red Cross Committee of Cellatica and Gussago is a local humanitarian organization based in Cellatica, in the province of Brescia. Part of the Italian Red Cross, it works to protect health and life, prepare communities for emergencies, provide social support and inclusion, and encourage young people’s development. Its activities are grounded in the Red Cross principles and the organization’s tradition of volunteer service, inspired by the events at Solferino and the humanitarian vision of Henry Dunant.

The committee offers emergency and urgent response, patient transport, and scheduled transport services, as well as support at sporting events. Its community programs include food collection and delivery of family food parcels, assistance for young people with disabilities, and initiatives to promote volunteering. It also provides training, including basic volunteer courses and BLSD courses on the use of defibrillators. The committee invites new volunteers to join and welcomes donations and contributions through Italy’s five-per-thousand tax allocation.
