Crider and McDowell Families Genealogy is a family-history website maintained by J. Allen Crider. It documents family connections and preserves genealogical information, photographs, and related historical records, with a focus on the Crider and McDowell families and their relatives.

Visitors can explore family-history data in two formats, browse a photo gallery featuring family members and gatherings across generations, and consult useful links to cemetery records, Missouri census images and obituaries, Missouri death certificates, and the GRAMPS genealogical program. The site also welcomes additions and corrections from people with relevant information, helping expand and improve its family records. Its content includes biographical material, such as an obituary for Joseph Ervin Crider, alongside photographs and captions identifying relatives, family groups, and milestones.

The website notes that improvements to its reporting tools have enabled media files to appear in both report formats, with other features under consideration for future updates. Overall, it serves as a personal genealogy resource for researching family relationships and sharing historical materials, rather than a commercial service
