About CRIDOC Malawi
CRIDOC (Child Rights Infomation & Documentation Centre) is a non-profit organization dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people in Malawi. They collaborate with local communities and strategic partners to develop information solutions that empower children in areas such as education, health, social well-being, and community development.
At CRIDOC, their mission is "to contribute towards the promotion of the rights and development of children and young people through information exchange, documentation, and dissemination." Their vision is to create a social order where children are fully integrated into family, community, and national life, with their fundamental rights respected.
Founded in 2003, CRIDOC focuses on providing access to information on child rights through research, documentation, ICT, and various communication channels. They advocate for awareness through media, public relations, outreach programs, seminars, conferences, and other traditional and non-traditional modes of communication. CRIDOC is a registered NGO and a member of several key human rights networks and forums. Their dedicated team, including volunteers and interns, works tirelessly to implement their programs and activities.
