About Criminon
Criminon is an international, non-profit organization committed to criminal rehabilitation and reform. Their mission is to help individuals break free from destructive habits, improve self-respect, and develop essential life skills. Criminon aims to empower those currently or formerly incarcerated, people on probation or parole, and individuals with criminal convictions to become productive and ethical members of their communities.
Criminon offers a range of programs designed for both adults and youth in various settings, including diversion, re-entry, and correspondence courses. Their programs focus on providing education, tools, and support to guide individuals towards a contributive and honest life. Additionally, Criminon works collaboratively with correctional facilities by providing training programs for correctional officers and educational staff.
Criminon's approach is based on the research discoveries of L. Ron Hubbard, who identified self-respect as the foundation for criminality. With over 70 years of experience, Criminon has successfully helped countless individuals regain their self-respect and embark on a path to a new and productive life.
By addressing issues such as drug education, character building, ethical behavior, literacy, study skills, and anger management, Criminon is actively working towards crime prevention and reducing recidivism. Through their dedication and evidence-based practices, Criminon strives to create a safer and more compassionate society
