Crinan Youth Project is a Dublin-based community drug treatment service supporting young people and their families. Located on Foley Street, the project provides structured, person-centred support for young people experiencing problematic drug use, with services tailored to their needs and stage of recovery. The process begins with an assessment to identify suitable programmes. Options include a pre-entry group focused on reducing drug use, a full-time programme supporting young people working towards becoming drug-free, and a progression programme for those in education or training. Aftercare helps young people adjust as they move into employment, education or training. Support includes counselling, medical appointments, care planning, relapse prevention and, where relevant, urine analysis and holistic treatments.

Crinan also offers an evening service for young people aged 14–21 experiencing difficulties with drugs, particularly cocaine and other stimulants. Its family support programme helps relatives and carers affected by a loved one’s drug or alcohol use. Additional services include outreach, educational drug presentations, a DJ programme and holistic therapies for young people and families.
