di CRI Pieve Emanuele

Croce Rossa Italiana – Comitato di Pieve Emanuele is a local branch of the Italian Red Cross, serving communities in and around Pieve Emanuele. Guided by the aim of preventing and alleviating human suffering impartially and upholding dignity, the committee supports people experiencing vulnerability through prevention, education, emergency response, and attentive, person-centered care. Its activities include health protection and promotion, public information on healthy lifestyles and first aid, emergency services, and social inclusion initiatives that assist individuals and families in need.

The committee also supports local welfare efforts in collaboration with other third-sector organizations and offers activities for young people focused on healthy choices, environmental awareness, inclusion, and participation in community life. Training is central to its work: introductory courses prepare volunteers in first aid and Red Cross principles, while further training is required for emergency ambulance response. The organization welcomes new volunteers and invites community support through donations and Italy’s five-per-thousand tax contribution
