Croce Rossa Italiana

The Italian Red Cross – Pizzighettone Committee is a volunteer-led humanitarian organization serving Pizzighettone and the surrounding area. Guided by the mission to prevent and relieve human suffering, protect life and health, and uphold human dignity, the committee supports people through practical services, community initiatives, and emergency response.

Its services include sanitary transport, assistance at public events, and 118 emergency response missions. The committee also offers training, including basic courses and instruction for sanitary transport personnel, and runs social activities and programs for young people. Beyond its regular services, volunteers contribute to health and safety operations at major events, while local projects such as food collections provide support to families in difficulty.

The committee invites people to become volunteers and welcomes donations and other forms of community support, including fundraising campaigns and Italy’s 5x1000 contribution. It also shares news about its activities, projects, and events through its website and newsletter. Based in Pizzighettone, the organization brings together local service, preparedness, and solidarity in support of the community.
