Croce Rossa Italiana

Croce Rossa Italiana – Comitato di Sabatino is a local committee of the Italian Red Cross, serving people in and around Anguillara Sabazia. Guided by humanitarian principles, it provides practical support focused on health, social inclusion, emergency preparedness and community wellbeing. Its services include secondary patient transport, using vehicles suited to different needs, including ambulances and accessible transport for wheelchair users. The committee also promotes blood donation and organizes donation opportunities in nearby communities.

Training is another central part of its work, with informational, qualification, refresher and specialist courses. Residents can join as volunteers through local recruitment and training initiatives, or support the committee’s activities as donors and supporters. Its projects include participation in the Universal Civil Service programme, offering opportunities for young people to contribute to community service, as well as health-awareness initiatives such as a campaign promoting skin protection. Through these services, educational activities and volunteer-led projects, the committee works to bring assistance and solidarity closer to local communities.
