CrisisCenter Belgium

The National Crisis Center is a Belgian public authority that provides information and guidance on emergency preparedness and crisis response. Its website helps residents understand risks in Belgium, learn how governments prepare for potential emergencies, and find practical steps they can take themselves. The center offers resources such as the “Prepared Together” brochure, a practical guide to preparing for emergency situations, alongside advice on basic preparedness measures.

It also directs visitors to BE-Alert, the government’s alert system, where people can find out more and sign up to receive alerts. The site shares news and documentation, explains the National Crisis Center’s role, and provides information about risks and the actions taken by authorities. Available in Dutch, French, German, and English, it also offers accessibility, privacy, cookie, and terms-of-use information.

By bringing together official guidance, preparedness resources, and links to public alert services, the National Crisis Center supports people in staying informed and knowing how to respond when emergencies arise
