About CRISP Shared Services
CRISP Shared Services (CSS) is a non-profit support organization that specializes in providing technology infrastructure and core services to Health Information Exchanges (HIEs) across the US. Unlike traditional vendors, CSS operates with a unique approach by involving each Member HIE in the governance of the organization. The driving force behind CSS is to empower and enhance the healthcare community in each local jurisdiction, ultimately leading to improved health outcomes for patients.
CSS works closely with HIE leadership to implement solutions tailored to the specific needs of their communities, even if those solutions are developed or provided by external vendors. CSS's mission is to assist member organizations in achieving economies of scale, pooling innovation efforts, and adopting best practices. With their expertise and collaborative approach, CSS is dedicated to supporting the growth and success of HIEs nationwide
