Criswell Cemetery

Criswell Cemetery Association is a volunteer-led, nonprofit organization responsible for maintaining Criswell Cemetery and its schoolhouse in northeastern Falls County, Texas. Formed in 1950, the association relies solely on donations to cover maintenance costs and welcomes support from individuals who wish to help preserve the site. The cemetery is located on County Road 159, and the association provides directions and a Google Map to assist visitors.

The Criswell Cemetery website serves as a resource for families, researchers, and community members. It offers cemetery maps and indexes, photographs, obituaries, information about veterans and unmarked graves, and guidance for identifying who is buried at the cemetery. Visitors can also explore the cemetery’s history, including its designation as a Historic Texas Cemetery, Homecoming Day details, past speakers and programs, a 1932 Criswell School census, newspaper articles, and other historical photographs and materials.

The association accepts memorials and donations by mail. People may contact its listed representative by email or phone to request inclusion on the mailing list or update their address.
