About Natourcriterium Aalst
Valckenier NaTour Criterium Aalst is a long-running professional cycling event organised by the non-profit Koninklijk Wielersportcomité Aalst. Traditionally held the day after the Tour de France finishes in Paris, the criterium brings national and international riders from the Tour to Aalst for a close-up opportunity to watch and support top cyclists. The event is free to attend and draws an estimated 60,000 to 70,000 spectators.
The programme combines activities for different participants and audiences. It opens with a kids’ criterium, followed by the Gentlemen Classic, a race covering 18 laps and 30 kilometres. The main professional race, listed as the 89th edition in 2026, runs for 65 laps over 107.25 kilometres. The organisers also provide event information, including the programme, course details, rider lists, results, photographs and video, and press updates. VIP hospitality and sponsorship opportunities are featured, although the 2026 VIP cards were reported as sold out and press applications as closed. The event’s website also shares its history and previous winners.
