Croce Rossa Italiana – Comitato di Urbino is the local committee of the Italian Red Cross, serving communities in Urbino and the surrounding area. Its work focuses on health assistance, emergency response, social support, training, and initiatives for people in vulnerable circumstances. The committee provides ambulance and medical transport services, including transport bookings for private individuals, and offers healthcare assistance at sporting, cultural, and religious events. It also organizes first-aid and other training courses for the public and businesses.

The committee’s activities draw on volunteers with specialist skills, including psychosocial support, operations-room coordination, and telecommunications. Alongside its services, it develops projects for local communities and participates in prevention and public health initiatives. Residents and organizations can support its work through donations, business partnerships, or Italy’s 5x1000 tax designation, and can explore current projects through the committee. People interested in contributing can apply to become volunteers, while those seeking courses or assistance can contact the organization to learn more.
