Cri Valpolicella

Croce Rossa Italiana – Comitato di Valpolicella is the local committee of the Italian Red Cross, based in Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella, Italy. As part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, it works to provide health and social assistance in peacetime and during conflict, guided by the Movement’s humanitarian principles.

The committee’s activities include protecting health and life, promoting social support and inclusion, and helping communities prepare for and respond to emergencies and disasters. It also shares knowledge of international humanitarian law, Red Cross principles and humanitarian values, supports youth activities, and promotes volunteering, communication and development.

Community members can get involved as volunteers or support the committee through donations. Volunteers contribute to local initiatives that assist people including young people, older adults and people with disabilities. The committee also shares news and events and provides information about its activities and services. Its work is rooted in humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality, with the aim of supporting people in difficult circumstances.
