P. A. Croce Bianca Albenga O.
D. V. is a volunteer public-assistance association based in Albenga, Italy, active since 1912.
It provides emergency medical response and patient transport, including both urgent and scheduled journeys. Its services also include transport for people with disabilities, technical rescue, medical assistance at events and public gatherings, and urgent delivery of blood, blood products, and organs. The association works in coordination with Savona Soccorso, the local emergency medical operations center, and supports the Sierra 2 medical car service by maintaining operational availability, coordinating volunteer driver shifts, and providing some of those drivers.
It also contributes volunteers and specialist vehicles to civil-protection activities during natural or human-caused emergencies. Services reach Albenga and surrounding communities through the main base and several local branches. Croce Bianca Albenga welcomes people interested in volunteering and provides training in basic first aid, with support from emergency-service and medical professionals.
The organization also invites public support through donations, including Italy’s five-per-thousand tax designation
