Croce Verde Arquatese is a public assistance organisation serving the community of Arquata Scrivia, Italy. Associated with Anpas, it has provided free, efficient first-aid assistance since 1980 and is available seven days a week, around the clock. Its work includes emergency 118 response, social and healthcare transport, support for vulnerable people, event assistance, and telesoccorso.
The organisation also offers mobility-aid rentals and training, including courses for volunteer rescuers and instruction in the use of semi-automatic defibrillators. Its services extend beyond direct assistance: Croce Verde Arquatese promotes volunteering, runs membership campaigns, and participates in the Universal Civil Service programme for young people. It also supports prevention and community initiatives, such as public information activities and maintenance of defibrillator locations.
Funded in part through donations and Italy’s five-per-thousand tax designation, the organisation invites residents to contribute as volunteers, members, or supporters. Its commitment is reflected in its fleet of emergency and transport vehicles and in its ISO 9001:2015 quality certification for its organisational and management system
