Croce Verde Casale

Croce Verde Casale is a public assistance association and Third Sector organisation providing health-related services in Casale Monferrato and the surrounding area. The association began operating in 1992, founded by volunteers with experience in local emergency care, and is affiliated with the National Association of Public Assistance organisations (ANPAS). Its services are delivered by both volunteers and employees, supported by members who contribute without operational duties.

Croce Verde Casale provides basic 118 emergency medical coverage locally for an equivalent of six months each year. It also arranges private patient transport, including hospital discharges, transfers and journeys to medical appointments. In partnership with local organisations and healthcare facilities, it transports patients who are seated or on stretchers, supports transfers between hospitals and provides services for continuity of care and dialysis. For public and private events, trained personnel offer medical assistance, including 118-qualified staff and operators equipped to use defibrillators (DAE). The association also undertakes home assistance and supports sporting activities and other events.
