Hartley's Crocodile Adventures, celebrating 20 Croctastic years, is a renowned brand and one of the oldest tourist attractions in Cairns. The brand's story began in 1934 as a humble tea house catering to weary motorists traveling between Cairns and Mossman. Legend has it that Pop Evans, the original owner, would entertain guests by feeding Charlie the resident crocodile while scones cooked on the wood stove.

Pop went on to become the first person in Australia to perform crocodile shows for the public. Today, Hartley's is famous for its exhilarating Crocodile Attack Show, captivating audiences just as it did eighty-eight years ago. Hartley's was also at the forefront of crocodile conservation, being the first place in Australia to successfully breed crocs in captivity.

Their efforts garnered worldwide attention and even inspired documentaries that helped raise public awareness about the importance of crocodile conservation. This eventually led to the protection of wild crocodiles in 1974. At Hartley's, visitors can immerse themselves in a range of exciting wildlife activities, including Breakfast with the Koalas and Premium Wildlife Encounters.

Be sure to explore the park's visitor facilities, indulge in some shopping, and grab a souvenir photo to commemorate your unforgettable experience at Hartley's Crocodile Adventures
